I have worn a hole in the leather of my driver's seat back (getting in I guess) and the bottom is looking tired and ready go next. All the other seats (which never get used) are looking good. Any suggestion on a reasonably priced fitted cover or replacement? Regular seats in tan/beige leather. Thanks Grady
If you buy an aftermarket cover or replacement upholstery it’ll be hard to match. Maybe find a decent passenger seat and move the cover to your driver’s seat? Passenger seats are always in better shape.
Are your seats like this?:

In Texas too.
I didn't think about using a passenger seat leather. I guess I assumed they were "different/reversed". I'll look for one more locally (the $164.50 of shipping...) Thanks Grady

Yes, 4+ hours each way. I asked the seller if he would be willing to "skin the seat" but haven't heard back and don't expect that he will be willing.
i'll keep a look out for a tan seat in the metroplex, if you were grey i have both my old seats i'd be happy to skin for ya.

Of you can find the same seat (heated or not etc) its super easy to swap the seat out. 4 bolts, the seat belt height adjuster clip and the plug, and youre done.
Recovering it....can be a bitty.

Just swapping the leather+padding from a good condition passenger seat is very easy. Swapping the leather itself without the padding is a lot more work.
Good to know - Thanks
