Thanks for posting jakermac.
Some clever ways you reduced weight.
NP. I quite frankly got a bit nutty looking for ways to lose weight off the car. Stuff like the aluminum FLCAs from the E30 M3, aluminum RUCAs from the E46, Ground Control hollow front sway bar, etc... And I have another 15-20lbs that I could save with A LOT of work. But now that I'm going FI, the rules that I autocross under say that my car needs to weigh about 100 (or more) lbs than it currently does. This only means that I can balance out the FR/RR bias once again as a significant portion of the weight that I removed came from the back of the car.
I feel like people usually say something about going to the nearest rock quarry industrial place and using their scale for if you don't have any handy.
My car is at 2906 with a half tank and i have full carpet, sound deadening, radio, speakers in the cabin.

That is very interesting. How much less does that weigh?
15lbs per door weight savings. 20lbs for aluminum, 35lbs for steel - bare door weights.
E46 arms are a straight bolt on. However, I used Ground Control articulating spring perches for E46 arms and I ran no rear sway bar so YMMV.
It was an absolute hoot! 270whp, 240ft/lbs torque, Race Logic traction control, 285/30-18s all around. Next iteration will be only slightly heavier (30-40lbs) and have 450-500whp and 350 or so ft/lbs of torque.
Stripped race car, with 8 point 1.75 cage, half tank fuel, 17x9.5 apex arc-8's, porsche brakes - 2777
