    Infamous NorCal Sharpie e36 sedan

Never been tracked or drifted, it's just not my thing personally. Car comes with tons of spare parts, duplicates of all body modules, spare cluster, extra fuse box relays, brand new door lock actuator, spare rear trailing arms, I can go on and on...

I went through my receipts finally and there's been an insane amount of money put into this car at this point. Clock is just about to hit 195k but has only had 50k put on over the last decade since the rebuild. I've come to accept a certain amount of oil leaking from the e36 chassis, so it does have that. I keep it full of 10-40 synthetic with a full change and new filter EVERY 6k miles.

The exhaust is all new and CA compliant besides the Euro e36 M3 headers. (Since they have OEM stamps, I've typically gotten them to smog it as long as I change the intake elbow and airbox). The cat is on 2.5" v-bands if you would like to make a track pipe.

The ride is still phenomenal and I keep up with almost any car in the canyons. I can leave most of my e36 buddies minutes behind in two miles of road. Hilariously, that's not even an exaggeration. 200 tread street slicks are on the front wheels, 400 tread Potenzas of some sort are on the rears, and unfortunately it has a 3.38 welded diff installed, as my roommate really wanted my built 3.46 lsd.

It's for sure a car everyone can love driving, though I know aesthetically it's not everyone cup of tea. (That said I never get any attention from cops and it's never been broken into.)

Would like to have $8,000 for it, if not I'll part it out for much more.

Ive followed your build off and on ever since i got my first E36. Youve been an inspiration and ive always admired your car. That being said, i for sure thought it was S52 powered for some reason.

    Anyways, good luck with sale

Thanks dude, very kind words. Honestly I've always been waiting for the little m50 to fizzle out but it's just been so strong! And with the 3.46 gearing I ran it never felt underpowered. The plan was always to drop in a reworked s50, but just never had to.

The s50 long block can be sold with the car for cheap, as I kind of doubt we're going to do anything else with it.

Weather is getting nice too quick though, so I may end up just parting her out soon.

Clean title, which is what I think you mean. I still drive it, just mostly to keep all the fluids moving.

Only been touched once, and that was when a drunk dude grazed the bumper and corner light on the driver side. Fender was untouched as well as the hood, but the bumper support bracket was tweaked, bumper cracked, corner light cracked, and the tabs on my headlights cracked. Literally everything was replaced and lines up like new. This was documented in the build thread with photos.

interested in the CF hood if you part it. Does it work good with no pins? VIS site says "requires" them

Definitely works without them. Obviously not recommended at high speeds, but I regularly do 70-85 with a couple trips just above 100 and it's been rock solid without them. (This is knowing that I wasn't going to keep the car much longer. Otherwise it would have had pins since day 1.)

I took my time and adjusted my hood catch, certainly wasn't hard though.

Well it seems like nobody wants to buy a well documented car for about a third the cost to build one, so part out will likely start in a week or two.

Bump, haven't been motivated to see her go, but the 2002 is getting close to finished and needs my full attention.

Car can be wrapped almost any color, so don't let the Sharpie bother you too much. Will only wait a couple weeks before I finally start parting out stuff.

    Thank you,
