Trying to get Sirius turned on cheap

    Hi folks,

    I just picked up a 2013 X3 with 10K miles on it (gotta love lease turn-ins). This is my 3rd X3, but 1st F25 and also at home is a X1 and a Z3.

My question is the X3 has the option 693 Satellite Tuner Preparation installed in the car, but do not have the Sirius option activated. I understand I can pay big dollars to my local BMW dealership to turn it on or there are other services around that will do it for a fee, but all those are looking for me to pay for a year of Sirius. The issue is I will be transferring my Sirius contract from my old X3 to this one, so I don't need the additional year of Sirius.

Does anyone know where I can just get it turned on without the rest?

    Thanks,
    Mike B

Search "bmw Sirius fsc code" and you will find a few online coders who will do it, but they will have to remote connect to your car. Half or less than what the dealer charges.
