    Rtab orientation a perfect 12/ 6 o clock?

Installing my rtab for a e36 m3 now and I.tried to line it up by eye but in hindsight should of made line designation for install. Well after getting it in I see the slits are not 12and 6 but more like inbetween 12/1 oclock and 6/7 oclock. Super tired and arm is twitching so im calling it a day. But Does it have to be spot on?

Position of slots not critical for operation of RTAB,
slots designed more for ease of installation,
    and positioning of installation/removal tool.

Yeah the bushing is press fit so the slots make no difference as far as I know. They allow the bushing sleeve to compress for ease of installation. Nothing that moves will be touching the part of the bushing sleeve with the slots, and it doesn't rotate inside its sleeve. Orientation shouldn't matter. Nothing in Bentley about it either.

The important bit is that you don't fully torque the RTAB bolt until the control arm is in the proper position in order to remove preload. Basically you want the trailing arm at the same angle that it's at when your car is driving. There's a diagram in the Bentley which shows a method to do this using a rod or straight edge going horizontally from just above the lower caliper bracket bolt hole across and lining up with the RTAB carrier's plate. I think there's also a tool you can buy, but it's not needed.
