At the volunteers kick-off meeting for the 2018 Huntington Beach Concours to be held across the weekend of June 2nd and 3rd, we learned this year’s featured import marque will be BMW’s. Actually this is good news as many of you are aware, 2018 marks the 50th year of the classic BMW 2002’s.
Those of us that are helping the HB Concours as volunteers and are BMW geeks and geek-ette’s are reaching out to our friends in and around the greater Los Angeles, San Diego and Inland Empire areas, if you have – or know someone that has – an early model BMW, be it a Neue Klasse, a 1600, a E3, a E9 or a 2002 – give them a heads-up and point them to the Huntington Beach Concours event.
We would love to see a great cross-section of the older, vintage BMW’s as well as the later model BMW’s attending. Bring out those E12’s, E28’s, E24’s, E30’s, E31’s, E34’s, E36’s, Z3’s, Z4’s, Z8’s
Yes, it is a Concours. No, your car doesn’t have to be entered in the judging part – there is a Display-only category – and truthfully, we would love to see any and all condition BMW’s on the grass at the Huntington Beach Central Library.
More specific event information can be found on the concour’s webpage at HBConcours.org or on FaceBook at OC BMW Concours.
We look forward to seeing you there!
Bumping, online registration is up and running. Hope to seeing some of you at the HB Concours on June 3rd 2018
