After purchasing my 2002 Roadster last summer, I started on upgrading the sound system. The biggest subwoofer I could get to fit the factory HK enclosure was the Kicker 6.75”. The fabrication was interesting, but solid. It’s completely sealed and stuffed with polyfil. Works great. No issues. Upgrading to a custom 10”. Willing to sell enclosure and subwoofer for $225 including domestic shipping. Have been using it with a Rockford Fosgate Prime R250X1 amplifier, not included.

Is the sub DVC? Is the white clear looking stuff silicone?
Yes, DVC. I wired them in series at the amp, for 2 ohm load. The coils are separate to the connector.
The silicone used to seal around the edge dried with a white center. Doesn’t affect the seal and is completely dry.

This is a good deal.
Get a small amp too, its probably the easiest upgrade you could do.
The sub box is worth more than the asking price with the speaker.
Don't be cheap.
White is Right, Steel Grey is OK, but Estoril is the only color that truly matters.
I like Coupes.
