Spent most of the day yesterday installing a new drivers door lock cylinder - not the easiest project. At one point the wires attached to the lock switch below the cylinder heater broke off . I was able to solder the wires back on and finish the installation. However... now none of the locks work. I've checked the #27 fuse as well as the internal fuse in the lock control unit and both are good. Thinking that my repair to lock switch may be the culprit, I went to pull-a-part and got a switch off an e30 - just hooked it up and still nothing. Thoughts on next steps? I've searched the interwebs and have run out of ideas. Thanks in advance guys!!

Without more info on exactly what the system is/is not doing, I would check the CLCU. You may have triggered the automatic unlock safety in that unit. Requires resoldering. But that means central locking locks then unlocks immediately.
This system is doing absolutely nothing - like it's getting no power. I pulled the CLCU and the little bit of metal is still soldered to the tower pin in the corner - no other burn marks etc. so it looks ok. Thanks for the response 8991XJ!
