    Testing SPA temp sensor

I have a SPA water temp gauge that started reading 270deg when cold. Does anyone know how to test the sensor and what the ohm's should be ?

Call SPA. There are at least three different types, with different color insulation to distinguish them. Did it ever read correctly? If not, it could be a setup issue. Morgan Jones at SPA in Indianapolis has helped me work through multiple pressure and temp sensor issues.

It did until I disconnect it to get to something else. I ordered a new one anyway. $55 for a sensor is a bit steep.

If the new one is a different color you will need to change the “typ” setting on your gauge.
