    E46 N42/N46 engine vanos units

Hi need advice on the bolts for the vanos units on the E46 N42/N46 engine, I have done the chain and replaced the two units but didn't have a torque to tighten the bolts on them I know it says 20Nm then 90°+90° i have tightened them but not sure if there over tightened or not tightened enough any help would be great.. I also bought the tools for locking the balance shafts so if anyone needs the spec on them so they can make there own let me know.
