How can I make my front wheels sit deeper in the fender so I can actually turn it. Also what tire size should I run for 17x8.5 and 17x9.5. Im lowered on coilovers
You need different offset
The deeper the less turning radius as they will hit the fender liner and frame.
Just put a Pandem Wide Body kit on it, cut out your wheel wells, and buy a $3000 wheel setup. Solved.
Or I got a set of 7" Bottle caps with almost new tires I will sell you for $125. Solved.
If no on the first two, This might help.

Is there anything in the suspension that I can change to help this issue?
Provide the wheel offset & tire size currently mounted on the wheels in question.
Then provide a photo with your current ride height.
The 17x8.5 should be fitted with a 225/45x17, the 17x9.5 should carry something like a 245/35x17. I know the front, I'm guessing on the rear.
If you use this link, http://www.bmwstylewheels.com/, and look up the factory wheel packages that are available for the 3 Series, you will find the tires that are used and the offsets that are required. Here's another link for factory wheel packages, http://felgenkatalog.auto-treff.com/
I use this site for the OEM wheel specs per model in conjunction with the willtheyfit site.
It's also a good resource.
