PDR - removing minor dents from rear tail panel

I'm looking at potentially buying another e36. It has a couple of minor dents in the rear tail panel below the trunk (part #41348151542) - supposedly from loading items into the trunk. I know this piece is spot welded and seam sealed to the quarter panels on either side. Is it possible to pop out dents with PDR from the thin strip between the tail lights? Or will the lack of access from the underside prevent repair? Is body fill and paint the only option?

Sand it down to the metal, tape up the surrounding panels and use high strength epoxy such as Devcon plastic welder. It's 3500 PSI strength rated, will never go anywhere. The panel won't dent again, that's for damn sure.

I have a couple of slight swags in mine right below the trunk opening. They will be fixed.
