Been a while since I have been on this forum, I used to have an e38 a few years ago (that I still miss) and since then have been through many cars, but I always keep coming back to BMW. A couple days ago I picked up a car that I have wanted a very long time since my e38; a 540i 6 speed with the sport pack and this one has only 42k miles on the drivetrain and 130ish on the body. Got the car for an absolute steal off another enthusiast, less than half of what other 540's are going for in my area, granted it needed some work, I could not pass the deal up. It already has a dinan exhaust, supersprint resonator delete, BC Racing Coilovers, e60 Shifter, newish clutch, and a few other things.
Car has a cracked windshield, check engine for the 02 sensor, had a coolant leak and needs a little bodywork on the quarter panel but overall cleans up real nice. Interior is super clean. Already started digging into it and got the coolant leak sorted, along with cleaning the car out, aligning the bumper and little things. Should be fully road worth in the next week.

Deep down inside I'm tempted to supercharge it especially since it has such low mileage on the drivetrain but after my last car I'm not so sure aftermarket forced induction is such a good idea.
Car looks great. I always hated the way the stock rear bumper looks w/ an aftermarket exhaust.
Congrats on the purchase! Looking forward to seeing updates.
Congrats and welcome.
