    Alpina Front Spoiler Install

Anyone have any tips or how-to links on how to attach an alpina front spoiler?

First align it and hold it in place with some rubber tipped spring clamps or duct tape. Once in place I started in the center and moved evenly to each side to secure it to the front valance. I used stainless machine screws with washers and nylon lock nuts on the back. Take your time to get the sides even. Drill and bolt one at a time moving outward. I made my holes slotted in the spoiler which gave me a little wiggle room. I converted to euro bumpers so the job was easier. You may have to trim some of the US bumper trim to get the look you want. I would show you the finished product but my car is in winter storage.

Is there a way to do it without exposed hardware? Actually, painted hardware looks really good on yours.

Unfortunately hidden hardware will not work with the forces on the spoiler. By sand blasting the hardware, then using an acid etching primer and paint to match you can make it look pretty nice.
