Does anyone know how to remove the ejector? Illustration (item #3). I have the part but don't know how to remove. Not sure if I'm going to have to pull the whole component out or if there is an easy way of doing this.... Please advise.
I wonder if the center part of the pin can be pulled out of the main part bmw is famous for those push in fasteners
No fasteners shown so it might just snap into place. Once the new part is in hand it ought to be self evident.

Guess I was just over thinking it as it didn't appear there was no lip on the ejector. However, when received the part, I noticed it did have a lip. I got a thin flat head screwdriver and very carefully popped it out... I just got the car, so I'm very skeptical about just doing things like that...
Thanks guys!
