E90 Xenon upgrade
I bought a 2006 e90 sedan (for dirt cheap) that has the dynamic xenon headlights and one of them is completely broken due to damage from an accident. Rather than pay out big bucks for a factory replacement, i bought some replacement ebay f10 style lights that look much better, but didnt realize there would be a problem becaise of the factory xenons. The ones i got are listed for halogen models only but they plug in and everything works except the high beams. On the factory lights the xenons are high and low beams and the inner halogen bulb flashes the brights and acts as a drl. The New lights will flash the inner bulb but will not do the high beams because the routers are single filament h1 bulbs. I Like the way they look better than oem so is there any way to rewire a different bulb or reprogram the car to use the other lights as high beams?
