Hey, so I noticed the other day my headlight washer covers were sticking out. didn’t think much of it so I pushed them back in and went on a 2 hour drive, using the window washer a few times on the ride. Come back home to find both covers missing. Found the part online for $10 and ordered, but I’m not sure if something else got damaged because the water doesn’t spray towards the headlights. See below picture. Questions...
1) did the nozzle break too? I heard that part is much more pricey
2) if I just want to disable them and not worry about it, any idea what fuse to pull?
3) the coverers come unpainted. I have a bottle of touch up pain from a recent repair. Would I just use a brush to paint them? Or should I get one of those atomizer kits to make it a spray paint instead? What’s the best way to handle painting? ( https://www.homedepot.com/p/Preval-9...-267/202533738 )

You're going to have to replace the spray nozzles. The covers are attached to the nozzles. Your nozzles have lost the end section with the sprayers that the covers attach to.
And don't waste your time trying to paint the covers yourself. Our body shop would only charge you about 50 bucks to paint them professionally.
If you want to disable them, my advice would be to remove the washer tank and unplug the pump. There are two pumps, one for the windshield, and one for the headlight washers.

I believe you can pull fuse 42 and disable the headlight washers without disabling anything else. Mine were leaking and draining the washer tank - pulling the fuse solved the problem. You should check the fuse listings to see if I have the right number.
