Installing Android Radio

I am helping a friend install an Android radio in his 02 vert specifically designed for the E46. My issue is he has factory nav. I know the headunit is nothing but an interface. The tuner is in the trunk along with other electronics.

I was reading the details about the radio seller’s website and it says that if the car has navigation, I will need a 6-meter cable to run from the Android headunit to the trunk. Where does it install back there? Will that plug in directly to the factory amp and in turn, power the factory speakers? Any other advise?

The extension cable plugs into the radio harness in the trunk. You disconnect the radio and connect it to the harness and then run it up to the dash. It will use the factory amp and speakers just like the original radio.
