    Different slave cylinders

Okay --- Clutch slave cylinders. What is the difference between the 328 and M3 units? The M3 is 215267754924 and the 328 is 21521159045.

It has something to do with the M3's larger clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing. Probably the throwout bearing. All other line parts are the same throughout. Maybe the piston bore is smaller or larger to create more movement of the piston.

Throw out bearings are the same. Clutches are the same diameter. Flywheels are different, but the stack height of the flywheel and clutch kits are the same.

I believe the only difference would be the volume. If the clutches are generally dimensionally alike, I would assume that the slave would want a smaller volume so that to compensate for overflow tank volume stretch limits when paired with the larger m3 brake calipers fluid volume. Just a probably way off guess. Ask someone to measure up a bad m3 slave and compare.
Nobody would recertify these machines after somebody screwed with them without any visibility into what they did.
