Is German Audio Tech still around?

I have tried calling them 5 separate times over the course of 2 weeks, left multiple voicemails, sent 3 emails, and used their chat. I have never gotten a response of any kind.

I need my MID pixels repaired and nobody seems to do the E31 except them and I also need my CD43 volume potentiometer replaced, again they’re the only ones I’ve found that do it.

Do y’all use someone else or what?

I sent my MID to BavTek a month or so ago and he had it repaired the day after he received it. Total turnaround time was 10 days. Cost including four new light bulbs was $119 and change plus shipping. Tomas called me when repair was completed. And it works great!

I used German Audio Tech to repair my MID at the end of November. They did a great job, and had a fast turnaround (about a week all told). I dealt with them strictly through ebay/email.

German Audio Tech. Remember that. They (he?) started selling those Rover branded CD43's and passing them off as BMW's. With a hidious M logo slapped over it, at 90 degrees rotation.

It’s crazy, but not half as crazy as the prices now asked for the BE2450/55 (Professional RDS) over here. A unit every owner ditched as it is a tapedeck. Now every E36 OEM head wants it as they realized it’s was the most exclusive and exotic unit available during its time. Specially the double FM tuner is sweet.

Years back, GAT did my MID.
Unrelated, in Jan '18 via eBay, GAT very quickly delivered a Borg FPC, plus iron.

I ended up getting a hold of them through eBay. I just think it’s ridiculous they have a whole separate website with a store front phone number and email that nobody ever answers.
