Enjoy the car for what it is. If you want something quicker I'd skip supercharging and go turbo unless you get a deal on a twinscrew. It's either that or look for an S54 car or a different car altogether.

Supercharged I barely kept up with a Z4M it was pretty sad.

With an S54, it's fast enough for me to enjoy wherever I go.

My stoplight racing days are behind me now, so I don't care how it stacks up against anything on the street.

Likewise. Mine is fast enough to be dangerous, but cruises along nicely until I need that extra little burst of acceleration getting on to the freeway.

Keeping up with a Z4M is a pretty good thing. Seriously, I agree: my Z3M is a bargain. What else could I buy under $10k that could be that much fun, and it does have enough power? But, if I were to "snail" it (new term I learned), I'd have closer to $20k and it would not be such a bargain compared to what I could get for that money. Now, if I were wealthy and just wanted to play ...................

I never worry about what is faster .......except when Im tracking a car.

I do not own a z coupe for speed...lol...I own it for a style that speaks to me...for its classic polarizing looks and for its driving experience.

if u r thinking of getting another car due to speed?...well, then u do not love your z like I do...but I respect that....get what u want!.......good luck

    under 10k for a z3M.....where?

Well I did win SSM ax class with it last year in DC, (SSM was the fastest car class at Nationals), so there is that. I'll get my LS1 Miata on the road looking for that VW!
