I've just bought a E90 330d manual. The clutch biting point is quite far down which is good, but paste this engage point the clutch travels so far up.
When I'm changing gear it feels like I'm pushing the clutch in so far, then change, then travels back up for ages!
I've read about the clutch stop but that fixes the opposite problem doesn't it? Shorting the travel down? Also read about CDV removal which I will do, but doubt it will help this issue.
Any ideas?
There isn't a good way to limit travel the way that you describe. There are a few aftermarket clutch pedals that claim to shorten the throw and lower the pedal, but they run close to $300. I think European Auto Source makes one. Shorter will mean heavier though. There may be different master or slave cylinders available to shorten the stroke. I'm not aware of any e90 specific products though.
