    Miata wheels on an E30

    Hey guys

Have the opportunity to buy Rota eight spoke wheels for my e30. Seller says they are off a Miata and believes the offset is +35. The mounted tires are 205/50 R15 in good shape. Will these fit?

They should fit, a lot of Miata owners take E30 wheels and mount them onto their Miatas. ET35 is sort of a high offset though, they might be pretty tucked-in to your fenders. Regardless wheel below 8" wide with offsets ranging from ET10-ET35 wheel should fit on your car.

    No e30s, again :(
And you can get spacers from jet.com for cheap and studs from garagistic for a decent price, also. Than you can run any offset. I have either 15 or 20mm spcers on mine and they make the wheels look good.

And the spacers are hub centeric so they are wobbling around. Just go and type e30 in the search and they will show up

205/50/15 aren't an ideal size. Your speedo will show you going about 4% faster than you actually are. (e.g 64.6 when you're doing 60) On top of the typical e30 speedo faster than actual variance, you could be reading over 65 mph when you're doing 60. The slightly taller 205/55/15 is a better fit. Stock Miata wheels would have a too small centerbore. Miata uses 54.1 mm compared to the E30 57.1 mm. However since these are Rota wheels they are probably 67.1 centerbore. In fact, Rota wheels sized for Miata with an e35 mm offset are probably 15x7/4x100/e35/67.1. If so, you would likely need 10 mm spacers that adapt the different centerbores or additional centering rings. In other words, you'll need another $100-200 to make them fit correctly. Of course you might get lucky and they won't rub or vibrate without the spacers or rings. The only way you'll know is to try them out. See if they rub. See if they cause vibration at around 65-75 mph.
