    That's not a 3.5" pulley you have, it's a 3.15" pulley....

Remember you're going to make 2-3lbs LESS boost here compared to sea level.

So an 8psi setup at sea level will only make ~5psi here and feel rather unimpressive.

I'd try to make at least 8-9psi of boost here, so you want a pulley arrangement that'll make 10-11psi at sea level.

That arrangement will be very safe up here and still safe at sea level. The tune will adjust based on MAF readings, so no worries there

This is not how you measure a pulley. D315-0306 is a part number with no dimensional reference. The standard Dinan s/c pulley is 3.382 inches. It is commonly referred as a 3.43" (as listed in the CARB EO) because the outer ridges measure slightly taller than the belt ridges. It's possible they are in actuality 3.43", the one I have in my hand looks dicked with.

Stage 1 Kit: Kit includes a Vortech V-1S supercharger with a 3.43" diameter pulley and a 5.14" diameter crankshaft pulley with a max. boost pressure of 6.5 psi., Lucas 28.8 lb./hr. injectors which replace the stock injectors, a new ECU calibration, Turbotronics 9 or 10 (air flow meter bridge circuit), inlet and discharge supercharger tubing, and an open element K&N-type air filter. The PCV system is modified with a two way valve to redirect crankcase gases during boost conditions. The supercharger kit does not utilize an air bypass valve. Stage 3 Kit: Same components and modifications as the Stage 1 Kit with the inclusion of a new increased diameter throttle body. Stage 4 Kit: Same components and modifications as the Stage 1 Kit with the inclusion of a new increased diameter throttle body, new air flow meter, and a new intake manifold (applicable to vehicles equipped with an on-board-diagnostic II (OBD II) system). Intercooled Supercharger Kit: Same components and modifications as the Stage 1 Kit with the inclusion of a new increased diameter throttle body, new air flow meter, new intake manifold (applicable to vehicles equipped with an OBD II system), new high pressure fuel regulator, and an intercooler. The supercharger uses a 3.03" diameter pulley and a 5.5" diameter crankshaft pulley with a max. boost pressure of 10 psi.

If it is a shouldered pulley, I would not measure from the top of the shoulders. Measure from the top of the ribs.

My goal was a close approximation of the stage 4 Dinan offered. But I’m not willing to buy two pullies to get that done. Thanks guys

That's where you are at with the 3.43 and the 6" crank pulley.

What the hell. I’ll worry about getting a tune now

Too bad I blew most of my savings on new wheels

I’m starting to fear future head gasket failure. I’m not ready to pull the head to prevent this, but will swap in some new head studs. $150 worth of insurance. If it blows anyway, then into headers, gaskets & valve-jobs I guess.

I’ve seen this “stretching “ plenty of times in blown 4.6L Mustangs when Dyno tuning

You're over thinking this. That isn't a big issue with these cars. Go ahead and put the blower on, I ran 30-40k trouble free miles on my last M3 with all factory internals, put the blower on at 80k miles.

    Mystery part 1 of 100.
This is clearly a banjo bolt w/and an AN fitting and some crush washers.
    1. Anyone know the size banjo and AN sizes details?
    2. Are there any other parts I will need for oil supply? (I have the braided oil supply line)

(I don't want to call VF or Dinan, i'm not buying from them and they typically don't give specs to buy from the parts store)

Ask RallyRoad. He carries the fittings with -4 too for $29.95.

Anybody have RMS instructions or links to an install post?

I think I now have everything in the parts list to tear this car apart and get started . Except guidance on how/where to install the RMS Aftercooler. I’ve called and emailed RMS for assistance but not heard back. Understandable, it must be annoying to support used products.

I have one sitting on my shelf in the garage. I can check when I get home. If I remember correct it seems to be around 45°. You can have mine if you want since I didn't end up using it. I'm local in Westminster.

This Dinan SC car is nice on BAT. But I’m a sedan guy myself.

So I’ll have opportunities while the SC install happens.

Vanos, various gaskets that are leaking. Radiator, water pump, a/c compressor

    Any other thoughts?
    Fan ? If so why?
