Hi all,
I have a 2011 F10 with the comfort entry option. I had an issue about two years ago with the left rear door not wanting to unlock when you pull the inside door handle. The lock plunger did not pop all the way up and it wanted to pull itself back down and lock. I took it to the dealer and they supposedly replaced the actuator under warranty and now it's exhibiting the same symptoms as it did two years ago only not as severe. Any input as to what I should replace, lube, inspect, etc. I'm pretty well prepared to dive into the door and try to fix whatever is the issue. I just thought I'd ask first to see if anyone had any of the similar problems and if they had any luck in repairing this. Any input would be appreciated.
Thank a bunch,
Just replace the door lock actuator again. They're pretty low quality on F10's. I've done plenty of them on these cars.

I am having a similar problem with the passenger-side front door on my 528i xDrive. In looking around on-line for the price of door lock actuators I find two very different price-points -- some are 157 - 175$ and some are 420 - 450$. What is the difference there, besides whether we have Christmas or not this year?
Chinese made crap versus OEM quality

Considering the "quality" of the OEM parts, maybe the Chinese versions are worth looking at?
