M52tu engine swap,has fuel pressure,has spark(new plugs),will start and spit flames out of manifold won’t idle,had it goin other day and was running extremely rough with pops from intake,tried it with and without maf,and any sensor I could unplug.
Any help would be appreciated as at end of road

Do you know if the “new” engine is in good condition. Flames coming from
thr intake indicates improper spark timing.
Apprentice w/#yrs. exp.
Massive intake leak or as Marco already suggested, improper timing.

*Flames from the exhaust manifold sorry,resealed intake manifold gasket,vacuum lines are not hooked up,not sure how to check timing

This isn't your current thread....? Put the motor at TDC then post a cams pic, just like was suggested in the other thread.
