    Selling M Coupe

Other than this site what is the best place to list an M-Coupe for sale. eBay fees are crazy and craiglist usually has a bunch of tire kickers. It's a 2000 sunroof delete with 35k miles second owner.

    thanks,

    larry

When I was selling my Z3 I posted it with the local BMW CCA and the national BMW CCA. You could also try other local car clubs.

+1 I sold an Audi there in 2016 and the experience was good. You work with BAT to come up with an ad and set a reserve (that you can lower at any time, never raise). The auction runs exactly 7 days and the car is vetted in the comments section (take great pictures, especially of the sub frame). The buyer pays a 5% auction fee, so typically the dead beats aren't out in force like you'd get from a CL ad.

I agree with the other suggestions for bringatrailer.com as long as the car doesn't have any major issues. There is a great enthusiast community there, and your car will likely get nitpicked, but the cars that "pass the test" see solid prices typically. If it does have major issues, call them out proactively in the listing and be prepared for the price to be discounted accordingly, which is fair.

I've bought and sold a number of cars on eBay and their fees were less than $100.

Used to be $250 to list a car there...$99 these days. EAG occasionally gets involved on the low mileage BMWs in top condition, and they certainly bid accordingly.

Sad day when the car sells, but at least you know it'll go to an enthusiast there.

My sad BAT day...shipped the S8 (hence my s8ilver screen name) from Denver to upstate NY:

Already had the Roadster so wasn't all that bad.

    Coupes...
    Oh man! Sunroof delete? Sweet.

I think BAT is a terrible place to put your car, only because there is so much hate and the price is suppressed.

You could list it with a crazy reserve so that it doesn't sell and you don't have to pay commission and then move it over to a private listing on MCBG and then let it go.

My buddy sold their coupe in 30 minutes for asking price after listing it on MCBG, but they also had a professional photographer take pictures. It had 80k miles.
White is Right, Steel Grey is OK, but Estoril is the only color that truly matters.

    I like Coupes.
