Time to make a new thread for 2018 cars. Getting pretty close to launch dates and testing sessions.

Haas is up.
Looking forward to the first time a driver is unable to exit the cockpit after an impact which could have been avoided if only he could see.

i really like the sf-70h in haas colors
Semi-related... anyone watch GP Driver on Amazon yet? Just finished watching last night, was pretty interesting.

New Williams unveiled:
skysports-f1-williams-fw41-the_4232129.jpg
Probably the ugliest car I've ever seen. These cars will rival the 2014 penis nose cars as the nastiest looking ever.

Renault is the livery winner so far:

Basically any car that paints the halo black.
I really really hope there's a mass revolt over the halo like there was over the quali format a couple of years ago.

Ferrari and Merc launch tomorrow. Excited to see what Ferrari does with the livery now that Santander dropped their sponsorship.
The halo on the Toro Rosso's car looks ridiculously hideous.
Also, Ric tested out the new Red Bull car on its first day but ended up in the barrier damaging the nose, floor tray, suspension. Lol.
New Ferrari is gorgeous (aside from the you know what )
Looks like they have some clever aero in the mirrors.
The halos, as predicted, look terrible on ALL the cars and obscure the driver even more than I thought they would. Kind of funny all the drivers rolling out new helmet designs....we won't be able to see any of them.
I really like the "waisted" look on all the new cars. It's especially prominent on the new Ferrari and Merc.

They kinda look like this:
Here's the new McLaren

Mclaren relased their new car and it looks very orange-y.
It's just a slab of orange. A very blank orange. This team desperately needs a title sponsor.
All I see are different colored toilet seats.
It would be one thing if the FIA had rolled out the halo as part of the raft of appearance changes last season, but seeing as how the cars are basically unchanged from 2017, ALL the attention is focused on the addition of the halo.
The official F1 YouTube video "explaining" the halo has far more dislikes than likes. Good. I hope the pressure continues throughout the season.

If I could see one thing happen this year, it would be to see the McLaren fighting for podiums. Give us a good 4-way fight every race between the Merc, Ferrari, Redbull, and McLaren.
Also excited to see if Haas can make any strides this year.
I really want to see Torro Rosso Honda finish ahead of Fernando this season.

This is awesome, never thought I'd see the day.
