    Replacement passenger door speaker

Mine now has a buzz in it (only at certain frequencies) but I am looking for a replacement (new or used).

You're supposed to bring "tidbits" like that to Wrenchfest for the Buy, Trade, Free corral.

I replaced mine with a pair of Faitalpro 3FE22 3" Neodymium 4 ohm speakers from Parts Express. They were $32.00 each. They also have them available with ferrite magnets for about half the price. They were a perfect fit and sound fantastic. The Parts Express part number for the Neodymium is 294-1100.

Form, fit and function direct replacement...cool!
Although the rattle turned out to not be the speaker, this is good to know.

Curious to see a photo of your install -
Just to be clear - it fits fine - but it's not exactly plug and play - yes?

When I checked out the model specified I see a 3" driver, which could take the place of one of the speakers in the door w/some work - but no tweeter or grill...

It has been a couple of years, but as I recall I just unscrewed the original 3" driver and replaced it with the Failtalpro 3" driver and that was it. If you search around there is another member or two who have changed the same driver and it was a very straight forward simple drop in.

    Doh!
Forgot that the tweeter and the mid were separate -

Good tip if the mid is the one that is blown and agree that the level of effort (aside from pulling the door panel) is light
