have just cleaned trans selonoids and valve body re installed them and car is shifting but cant get trans prog error code removed what can I do or could the tcm still be a problem and is there a wy to test that
did you test the solenoids on the plug on the trans? Here are the specs

Also I would try a control module reset, disconnect the battery for 30 minutes and reconnect. Before doing that make sure you know all the codes for radio, anti-theft device and how to reset the OBC time and date.

In emergency aka limp mode, you only get a high forward gear plus reverse. If it is shifting normally 1-5 + reverse, this sounds more like a spurious warning - possibly an issue with the cluster. IIRC, the TCM provides a ground to the cluster to bring up the 'trans prog' message. The wiring diagram suggests you might have a look at pin 25. No TCM fault codes?
No sure this is where i post answer but no there is no TCM error code just a trans program code
