G'day all
Earlier this week i noticed a small gap between the side skirt and the side fender, i've narrowed down the part number that is having the issue but i can't find any help on being able to mend the issue. I'm hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction to closing the gap or even giving me a name to search around for it?
I've attached some images of the gap/damage
Thanks in advance

There are clips that hold the plastic rocker panel cover to the sheet metal. Some of them are probably broken.

call me daff...but I do not think it is the rocker/side skirt at all...I think it is the front wing/fender...has it ever been replaced? If so was it OEM BMW or after market? It looks to me like the wing/fender is short, and does not go all the way down to meet the rocker/side skirt. Notice that the rocker/side skirt is a tight fit, yet the gap is above not behind where the clips would be....just my two cent...but what do I know anyway....
You may may right. It's hard to tell from the pictures/angle. A side pic from farther away without the angle would be better. Seems more likely that the rocker panel cover is loose and hanging down in the front but anything is possible.

G'day
I'll upload a couple more photos to get a better perspective. It seems like the area around the gap has been tampered with , the door isn't completely flush so maybe there has been some repairs?
