Template for front/kick panel speaker mount - anyone got one?

Finally getting around to putting in the proper front speakers (CDT M6+) as my previous (ill-advised) install utilized woofers that required more air volume than was contained in the kick panels. These new speakers require a custom plate for mounting and was wondering if anyone had a template that they have used to create it.
As we've all discovered on these cars, we often find ourselves working in awkward positions and this one seems like a challenge when one is creating a custom piece -

I don't have a template, but when I mounted those speakers, I made sure to put them BEHIND the MDF board to allow for the exceptionally long throw those speakers have. And yes, those are the absolute best kick panel speakers you can use, IMO... they sound amazing

    Thanks for the tip!
I remember you telling me that a couple years ago when you recommended the speakers - had a bit of time (finally) and these finally moved up the list.

Make sure they are sealed tight, Zeke and use the Dynamat sound dampener if you have some. I use those and they seal really well. I use them on openings that I can't close with MDF or pliable wood sheet. I also apply several sheets to the inside of the fender to dampen any vibration. Those sub/mid speakers hit hard but do do require good clean power.

Like you said, space is extremely tight and you would have to be a professional contortionist to get underneath the dash. If you need to work on the seat cable issue, now is a good time to have the seat(s) out...lol.
