Euro 3 spoke wheel from foreign seller

I found this wheel online, it is similar to the smooth wheel with the same airbag. It lists different models in the title bit I am not sure about fitment on an E36.

The pics show the splines and the front with the airbag off.

Has anyone used this wheel in their E36? If so please provide details on fitment and pics if you don't mind.

At the very least you will need the proper clock spring and plastic switch bracket.

Thanks CblockM3, I looked through your threads and found it. I might get it, I have a 4 spoke M3 wheel but I like the Euro Wheels better. I found an early 3 spoke with the SRS light on the bottom spoke locally in good shape but I like this one better.

I ordered this one, it is very similar. Where is the best place to get the clockspring and switch tab? Got part numbers for those?

I dug into it a bit more and found this after filtering through Google search results.

FYI, I bought my wheel from Shepott on the forum here. Tough to beat his prices and I'm really happy with my wheel. Another of my buddies bought a 3 spoke m3 wheel from him and his is very nice also.

I have a '94 also and it was mostly plug n play. Just needed to splice the horn wire and use the updated switch bracket and correct slip ring. I used a 3-spoke out of a wrecked '99 but getting ready to swap in a Euro Sports wheel.

I just got one from Shepott and agree, nice attention to detail, tri-color M stiching, and good quality leather re-wrap. I haven't mounted it yet b/c I also need to get s new upper bearing, but looking forward to using it soon.

Yeah looking over the detailed information in that link it looks like the 1994 is actually the easiest E36 as far as doing the swap. The slip rings are pretty expensive, I found some on ebay that were checked and refurbished for about $60.

I figure my Steering wheel is slowly making it's way from Ukraine, so I went ahead and ordered these to be ready when it comes in.
