recently purchased from a friend who has owned it since 2008, but now he and his wife want a convertible "fun car" so this had to go. i'm trying to stay committed strictly to e46s so seeing if there's interest in this elsewhere.
e36 m3 sedan aka m3/4/5
153k miles
manual 5sp transmission
techno violet over dove interior
manual sport seats
minor rear end several years ago but damage is cosmetic, driven as is ever since
not a show car but mechanically excellent
everything works, no warning lights on the dash, cold a/c
non staggered wheels, all four are rear ds2 17x8.5
track brake pads (included, not installed)
ground control coilover suspension with adjustable konis
vorshlag camber plates
mechanical engine fan delete
within the past 20k miles the following has been done:
entire cooling system replaced
control arms replaced
most if not all rubber bushings replaced
brand new battery
brass brake guide pins
shifter rebuilt, feels like a ssk as well
probably more that i'm forgetting
would be an outstanding street legal track car or just a fun semi-beater (too nice to be a full beater, but not nice enough to be a garage queen). $5900, located in raleigh nc, email jtower at gmail dot com if interested.

Someone should buy this. It’s a reasonable deal.
how has this not sold yet!!!!
market gets very limited to those who can go see it in person due to the rear end damage. its tough to tell if the trunk is warped and will need replacement in addition to what is visible. that could be $800 of work or $2500+ to get it properly sorted. who knows. Post#8 asks about any estimates for body work but that was not responded to.
And here I thought $2500 minimum, maybe more like double that haha. And if someone were to buy it and just drive it as is, well there actually seem to be a decent amount of cheap m3’s out there these days with some body damage or other issues that you can do the same with. For me personally I really like techno m3 sedans, I’ve owned 2 and am considering a third. But I would either need to see it in person or see more pictures of the damaged area. From underneath looking up, inside the trunk area with the trunk open. And a better description of what’s damaged. An estimate from a body shop would be nice and should be free, just take a short amount of time. The only thing I can think is that it would hurt the sale because it needs more than it appears. From what I see as a minimum would be trunk, bumper, the panel in between, and paint however far you have to go to blend all that.
Now of course if someone wanted to buy it and just drive it as is that’s fine too and starting to get into the range where that might be just what someone wants. I’m just thinking from my perspective of wanting it repaired.
