    2000 750 fuel injectors and delivery hoses

    So I tried to be productive this evening and was going to remove all of my fuel injectors to change the orings and clean and this happened.
    inj.jpg

    Then...I compounded the issue by removing the tube from the fuel rail to get the plastic piece out...which resulted in a crumbling fuel delivery hose.

    I realize that I have to replace the injector with another one.
    Is there a way I can use a regular fuel hose and cut it to fit instead of paying 25 damn dollars per hose.

    At this point i am afraid to take any of them off as the other injectors may meed the same fate.

    Don't touch the other injectors, they will crumble.

    Ebay sells replacements for the M73N, those are the only ones that work.

    It is enough to piss off the Pope...and I hear he is a pretty easy going guy.

    You can just use dirt cheap 302 Mustang injectors since you have a prefacelift.

    THAT is awesome to know.

    I've had a couple 01' 750's - glad to be out of the EKAT business as well.

    Maybe you can plug the hoses and just use the Gen 3s, even on the N.

    I'm in the process of converting mine to the prefacelift injectors. Much more solid injectors almost no plastic what so ever.

    By using prefacelift manifold, injectors, and now i just found out the fuel rail wont mount on prefacelift maniold. The mounting bolt for fuel rail narrower than facelift fuel rail. I have to hollow out the fuel pressure regulator on the prefacelift fuel rail cuz the facelifted already have a regulator under the car by the fuel filter.

    So the best bet is to use all prefacelift fuel fuel rail, injectors, and intake manifold. Prefacelift and facelift parts are not all that compatible with each other believe it or not, very minor diffeneces but enough to say they are not quite interchangle.

    So buy a 98 and swap the fenders and lights. ;-)

    Seriously - good information for those fighting that fight. V12's can be a pain, but the payoff and accomplishment of taming it is pretty nice....as Im currently
    doing.

    Probably quite late response, but here you have a few choices:

    Buy a new fuel injector, I'd say would cost around a hundred bucks;
    Look around on the internet for used one (I was lucky and bought few while ago);
    Fix broken bits using high quality compound glue;

    My insight on injector tubes, which are at ~10 euros each (in Europe) - use regular fuel hose, cut in appropriate bits, then bent and fit on rail and injector. Do it carefully to avoid breaking other injector tubes.
    In regards to O-rings on both injector ends, there you have a choice to buy genuine ones either buy same diameter, but cheap alternatives
    Speaking from my own experience, I'd go for genuine O-rings. I have replaced work genuine O-rings with cheap alternatives and after a while when removed injectors to do other stuff I found that they were deformed,too soft and did not do the job like originals.

    I bought a new fuel injector. I spent the money on an OEM hose to connect it to the fuel rail, bought original Orings for the top and bottom of each. The last thing I need is for something not to seal the correct way...start spraying fuel all over the place and me driving down the highway at 90mph with my engine on fire.

    However...It looks like I am going to be putting sealer on my intake manifold gaskets. Max does not have his kit in stock. I was thinking about buying these...which would put the price at 100 each....but something doesnt feel right with this guy...seems kinda sketch.
    Its through amazon...no one answers the phone...I tried to email to clarify the quantity and price and got no response.

    If you're talking about the ad you posted, thats BMW/Mini of San Francisco. Their parts department isn't open on weekends and didn't open until 0800 PT/1100 ET today! Probably why they didn't answer.

    Don't know what's posted on Amazon, but here is their main phone number: (415) 863-9000 maybe they can give you the answers you desire. No affiliation myself, but finding it odd the problem you are having getting in touch with them. Hopefully this will help.

    Thank You. I finally got in contact with them with the number you provided and they said it was listed incorrectly. they would not honor the price listed...so I am sealing them. Thank You for your help with the phone number.
