Hi, I'm trying to get some feedback on whether I should buy these wheels or not. I've got a guy who can sell me his BBS RS wheels, 16x7.5, decent condition 66.6 center bore and ET30. The thing is that they were drilled to 4x100 and manufactured to 5x112 or 120 (not sure). Anyway he's giving me a really good price and he says that he never used the 4x100 because his care was 5x112/120. Now the other option I have is BBS RMs for more money and they are 15x6.5, but a lot newer and also they are 57.1 and 4x100.
I guess my question is what would you do? If I use 66.6 to 57.1 hub rings, am I going to get any rattle? The RSs are 16s and are an inch deeper. and they are RSs. Not to mention they are like 400 dollars cheaper. Thoughts?
That's your call. I would not pay a ton of money for rims because my cars are not that noce looking. And I like the sleeper look so I don't want rims attracting attention from people
As long as you're using quality hub rings you shouldn't have any rattling. As for which wheels to buy, do you want to run 15s or 16s?

Thanks...I like the way 16s look. Obviously they are heavier but yeah, if you think the hub rings won't be a problem, I'll probably just go with the cheaper option.
I have discovered that 16” wheels look horrible on a stock ride height car. You may want to test fit them unless you’re already lowered. Makes the car look like an x3 prototype

I'm running hubrings on my E30, E61, and E39. On the E61 I had to trim the flaring out of the hub ring slightly for a perfect fit, just keep in mind you might have to do something like that depending on the way the wheel is chamfered.
