Guys, I just want to confirm that these are Euro headlights? Iv got a Gulf spec E31 and im not 100% sure what we got as OE
If its Euro headlights, I need to order H1 correct?
"Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car, Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car, Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, Torque is how far you take the wall with you."
They look exactly the same as my Euro lights - so, yes! H1 bulbs x 3 required for each side.

The easiest way to tell is US headlight have the black bezel around the whole “headlight” part, Euros don’t. Very obvious difference
"Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car, Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car, Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, Torque is how far you take the wall with you."
How do you know if these headlights will work for a 2013 328i?
I just installed the Hikari "Eyes of Megatron" LED replacement bulbs for my low beams. Is there any heat generated by the wiring harness or block connector (see photo) that I have to be concerned with contact with the plastic headlamp housing? IMG_5759.jpg
Some heat is emitted but not enough to damage the housing.

Thanks for posting this solution...I attempted to order the LED from page one unfortunately they were out of stock. Apparently available now!
I have a trans failure issue I posted about earlier..discovered it only happens at nite after long/across town trips with lights on- so trying to reduce battery drain as a solution. Not sure of differential in amps between the two (Halogen vs LED)- popped my 2A fluke fuse when testing so unable to measure.
Anyway I ordered an adjustable beam version https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 for $36.99 the prior posted LED is $69. You may rotate this LED in fixture- not sure why you would want to..directions are given to install with led elements facing left & right. Lumen output is same.
I purchased the resistors and installed one assuming they were needed- it popped the low beam fuse and apparently draws a bit of current. When testing on a battery the LED element would not light and draws a good spark when connecting leads.
I reinstalled with no resistor and lights function well with no flickering etc. (One day of testing) A headlight alarm notification was on at restart this am...likely have to live with that issue...
The resistors arrived from the phillipines after 6 wks...I have a bunch if anyone needs one/two.

Pictures removed because PTC incorrectly soldered:
Removed 50w resistors from the pop up main beams and replaced with PTC resistors as shown on meeknet. (Link earlier in this thread).I had been advised that I was likely to melt things with the 50w resistors in place. Thanks Timm!
I hadn’t picked a soldering iron in many years before acquiring this car.
Not the best looking job, but hidden behind heat shrink.
All seems good, but still cant resolve why my FTP main beams are non functional.
I initially suspected polarity, but after switching, still no dice. I reinstalled the halogen bulbs, and no dice there either.
Is there a relay or fuse specific to these, as everything else headlight related is working?

The PTC's go in parallel with the LED - not in series - that's why they are not working. All shown here:

I installed the PTC resistors on the H1 LEDs I have in my main beams in the pop ups. Despite being soldered in incorrectly these bulbs function. I’ll fix the according to your link.
The main beams in my FTPs are the bulbs that are inop. I perhaps should have made a separate post for this issue.

Forgot to say - the main beams are not checked by the LKM - nor are the FTP main beams, so no need for any resistors of any kind. They ARE needed on the dipped beams and fogs.

Good to know - my fogs and dipped beams are HIDs. In that case I may leave the pop up main beams as they are, as they are functional.
The FTP main beams however are still stubbornly not working. I’ve checked fuses 13,14 and 26 and they’re good.

K52z could be your man: https://www.meeknet.co.uk/e31/Timms_...lay_Finder.htm
Also involved is N17, the crash control relay

K52z was reflowed, along with the two pop up relays, by eedegreetodrive.
I could replace the crash control relay to troubleshoot

Narrow it down by using an elastic band to keep the stalk in the 'flash' position and check for a voltage on Fuse 26 - voltage present = loom problems, no voltage = something else!

Try not to laugh - I had left my fog switch on, and had yet to euro encode my LKM, which is why the FTP main beam wouldn’t come on.
One I’d used Revtor’s fantastic E31 LKM Coder, the FTP main beams work, and of course the wall of light is a go.
Last step is to add the bulb holders for the rear fogs.

I know this isn’t the classifieds but I have some eyes of megatron main beams and resistors if anyone would like to make an offer. They have at most an hour on them I would guess? I went back to all oem
