Highbeam is on and off and on when key is out

how to fix highbeam then?
stays on or flashes randomly

I was going to suggest that he look up the "ignition failure" test. I don't recall exactly what the steps are but easy enough to search..?

I always feel bad after a day or two of a "help" post and nobody even tosses out a bone. I didn't have a bone to toss (insert bone joke) but I wanted him to know that he wasn't invisible. Also, its kind of rare in here to go unnoticed/unaided. I was like "Puma-time, I'ma be first!" but then had nothing substantive to offer. Good thing you are back off the bench.

I like how sometimes, someone will help answer the question asked and then promptly tell them to GTFO of the touring group board. I don't typically feel bad for podts that resemble, "which A/E's look best on my year, model, paint color in my driveway during Summer with this camera and has anyone tried these off ebay?"

Doesnt something happen with the headlights if you leave the turn signal stalk engaged? Maybe this in conjunction with have the highbeams engaged? idk

The "show the path" feature. W/lights on or off, turn the key all the way to the rear turning the car off. Then, pull back on the stick as if activating high beams and they'll stay on for 30 seconds even if you exit and lock the car.

The other thing we were looking at was the ignition lock on the steering colum can contribute to all sorts of strange happenings if it starts to die.

W/key in and turned just before starting the car, turn the lights on and open the sun visor for the passenger side (the missor cover needs to be open), if you see some funny stuff happen, ignition is your culprit.

I don't know the exact steps but again, a quick search in tgese forums should reveal the missing details.
