do i have to change vanos solenoid ??!!

hi all
my BMW e46 316i 2003, N42 engine keeps Rough idle with frequent hiccups, and hesitation and bogging in the lower rpm ranges,

and loss of power primarily in the lower ranges, and poor fuel economy.
i recently changed the spark plugs, and today i cleaned vanos solenoid and still the some problems.
here is a pics of my vanos solenoid before cleaning

i wnoder how to tell if they in good conditon or they have to be changed.

The solenoids do not look gummed up or neglected, so they should be fine for now.
A diagnostic scan with a BMW scan tool/software would be the ideal way to diagnose,
but from your description & video, I suspect an intake leak.
Begin by inspecting rubber intake boots and all associated hoses for cracks,
replace with new as needed.
