Hello All,
My 07 X5 3.0si had an overheat message and de-tuned the car. Generic OBD II gave a 134b code. The radiator fan runs on extreme high mode.
I've replaced thermostat, valvos solenoids, temp sensor in front of oil housing and still high fan with codes cleared. I purgred the air and water pump kicks in but not a strong stream shooting out into reservoir like the videos I saw.
Temp when started was 22c. Drive and didint climb. Shut off car and back on and at 88c. Went up to 111c then I shut it off and back on. Drive and dropped to 80c and it stayed there for 5-10 miles until I got home.
Any ideas before buying the water pump. Thanks in advance for any insight you can offer.

Electric water pump, that's what you should have replaced first along with the thermostat
