Eagle rods with OEM s52 pistons?

Any one used this combo? planning for 450whp, S52 technica stage 1 w/cutring and spacer. Pulled the engine out again because it spun a bearing just idling. i polished a bunch of stuff and probably didnt clean everything well enough. cut ring i previously posted a thread about didnt end up sealing either. so im rebuilding and seeing what i can beef up while im in there.

Eagle rods with OEM s52 pistons?

Carefully check the Eagle rods for size and roundness.

with that goal in mind.. keep the stock rods. waste of time upgrading.

Or go the other way and put in some forged pistons with the good rods because you will soon find out that 450 whp is not a lot of power and you will want more.

Yeah thats what i keep reading. currently having trouble deciding whether or not to throw forged internals in it for reliability sake. im not going to want more power, if i ever do get that itch im gonna build another car. plan is to have the engine sorted for 450whp and then lock it down. mainly looking for reliability at that power level. If i can keep that with the oem internals thats beautiful. i want to put another 100k miles on it. currently at 112k.

Heads perfect, block got decked w/timing cover and a deglaze in the cylinders.
