abel - i think they already tried that - or, at least, did something like that.....
'95 325iS - auto to manual swap done!
Oh, well, then a qualified mechanic would be best then. If the dealer is recommending MAF and oxygen sensors, then they aren't the place to go.
In order to get mixture deviation codes, that pretty much means the oxygen sensors are doing their job.

Morning everyone. Took the car to a family friend who is a family friend and he started to take the engine apart bc like you, he suspected a leak. He found it. The ccv has a crack in it and there is oil everywhere. He had me order the following parts...

Don't buy URO brand unless you want to do the job again in 6 months.

Also stay away from Meyle, Dorman.
OK to use are Original BMW, Febi/Bilstein, (even Vaico/Rein may be decent).

Cancel the order from ROCKAUTO,
as that part is included in the kit from FCP!
Thx on the cancellation. All parts will be in this week. I'll keep everyone posted on the results

As expected by everyone, mass vacuum leaks, rotted hoses etc...getting repaired now

Thank-you for coming back and closing the loop on this, as it will help other in the future if they come across this thread during a search.
Yes BMW's are very fickle to vacuum leaks, while you can have a small one here or there, they do add up and cause problems.

Got pics of the parts which were causing issues? Your car's problems are a recurring theme here, and it would help overall.

great - now that this issue is fixed - just thought this was worth mentioning again.....
actually, you are in luck - the National Capital chapter of BMW Car Club of America has an amazing and awesome DIY program. Join the club (www.bmwcca.org) and check out your local chapter. They can certainly recommend a great shop as well.
one of the best ways to learn is get involved with your local BMW CCA chapter's DIY program - show up, ask questions, learn, pick up a service manual and read it cover to cover. i really like the see one, do one, teach one methodology for learning about working on cars.

Hey everyone, back again with a new question. Both my front turn signals just went out. I’ve changed the bulbs and that isn’t the issue. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Are you getting the fast blink? Do they work if you hit the hazard switch? Do the lights come on properly when you switch to "Parking"?

Ok, what I would do is clean the base of the lamp and the socket, then bend the base contact upward to apply more pressure to the base of the bulb.
