BMW E46 2000 2.0D - A/C compressor

Hi

FIrst of all sorry about my english.

I have strange question , I have looked My A/C Commpressor while its wokring and not.
When i turn it on it turns with no problem and transfer cold air into my car , but when i turn it of it wont stop spinning right away , it takes sometime spinning then brakes little (You can see its slowwing) and again goes little faster all that until it stops.

I have seen videos With A/C compressor and they stop like in 1-2sec no braking and speeding up but just stoppes when turned off.

Is it isssue ? A/C compressor needs to exchange or its not so big issue ?

Your English is fine, certainly better than my Estonian. My wife and I were in Estonia last year. Very nice country and friendly people.

The clutch on the AC compressor is electrically actuated. The 12VDC comes from the climate control module in the dash. So, use a volt meter to see if the 12VDC goes away immediately after you turn off the AC. You could have a sticking clutch.
