Let's see your junk in your trunk...

I'm guessing that some of you are like me and you bought a touring because you 1) love the look and 2) love the practicality of a wagon.
I love a nice and neat vehicle. I have some spare oil, coolant & jumper cables tucked in around the spare tire. Some winter overalls between the floor and spare and a few bungees / collapsible bins in the cargo area.

Let's see how all of you manage your storage both in the trunk and the rest of the vehicle.

I always have a tow rope and jumper cables under the cargo floor, you never know when you'll need em!

The other day I fit a ton of stuff into the back: 20-gallon air compressor, giant bin full of paint supplies, gallon of paint thinner, several clutch fans, a pile of M62tu cooling hoses, a starter, and some other miscellaneous things... and that's without folding the back seats!

I once put 17 of these inside the car and could still drive it.

That little guy clearly wins. Game over. One good bowel movement and it might be time for veal but that's cute. Backstory?

    Cool sig btw.

    Quick question / thought.

Has anyone cut the top off of the stock sub box to use it as a storage bin?
Being a touring, there is a lot of storage space. But there's not a lot of storage bins / cubby's.
My radio sucks, I only listen to podcasts so the stock subwoofer is basically useless to me.

I looked for pictures (I know they exist) of what's inside the stock sub box, but couldn't find any.

    Just throwing out an idea.

Considering you can sell the sub for $20-40 on gleeBay, perhaps just build a hinged box to hold tools or something but using the speaker box as a cubby...
Why not cut a slit in the headliner and shove important papers up there for later? I'm razz'n you, sorry.

Who really needs a spare tire anymore really? AAA is always like 30 minutes away, just as long to take all the stuff out of the cargo area to even get to the spare.

If you really need more room, buy a solar panel and large capacitor to replace your battery, more room.

Velcro-back your traveling kit and adhere it to the celing, a&c pillars?

I just don't think YOUR lamb is going to notice the extra room, there's plenty already as we've seen.

Ha, maybe it's just me but I like to have things stored neat, orderly and hidden...
I like to keep my oil, coolant, towels, bungees, ratchet straps, spare tools etc. all available if I need them, but hidden

No lambs for me, just beagles...

Beagles are dope, until left alone with separation anxiety that the whole neighborhood can hear. Such small dogs, such big noise.

I like extra spaces but I'd just use the hinge and threads into the car, sell the subwoofer and just make a tool caddy instead of destroying a finitely available part just because.

I didn't take a picture, but I just bought a used Traeger smoker and it fit in the trunk without having to fold down the seats. Perfect fitment!!

Picked up some free rims! 17's and in decent shape. Not fully sure what I'm going to do with them. I can't fully decide if I want to use them to replace my current summers, style 32's. Thoughts???
