I replaced my water pump and thermostat a month ago. Now, the "Increase Battery Discharge" lit up on my screen. I've also noticed an intermittent smoke coming from my engine and through the vent inside my cabin. I've checked all of the fuses and they are fine. Someone online said to disconnect the negative cable of the battery for a few hours and let the system reset, so I did. Now all of the comfort features like door access, welcome light under the door latch, and alarm system no longer works. Anyone experienced this problem or have a good knowledge of how to fix the problem?
Any help is appreciated.

Are you on your original battery (good possibility since you have a 2012)...your battery may be near the end of its useful life. Getting a battery discharge warning and guessing the age of the battery is approximately 5-6 years old...have you checked the battery's voltage? Have you done a battery test to see how well it can hold a charge?
