Hey all, I have an oddball Q.
I am moving the battery to the trunk in my E21. I went to the junkyard to get a power distribution box and wiring from an E30 but the car was scrapped.. I found a power distribution box on an E32 but there were no wires on it, so Im blind to the setup.
Does the power distribution box receive the wire directly from the battery? Is it safe to use for the resting amps of the battery? The e21 battery is probably way smaller than the E32 battery so if it received the battery's resting amps its probably ok. Just wanna make sure.

Thanks, I think this will do it. I'll have to find the specific manual for the car this came off of since it appears that there are a few different types of junction boxes.
I assume the 'power distribution box' in these manuals is not the part Im referring to but actually the fuse box?
There are actually several fuse boxes on the E32, under under driver rear seat and more in the engine bay, plus the e-box on right side engine bay near windshield with the Motronic etc, and the trans module is on some E32 inside the cabin near the front door, all shown in the ETM, see there component location views.
