Hi Guys I am new to this forum and in need of some tips.
I have been on market for a used car and was eyeing on a 2008 325i.

I have asked the seller whatvsort of servicing she has done ? she has replied to me " oil and oil filter and spark plus.. air filter coolant and brake fluid flush and trsmission fluid also been flushed"
Now I was wondering how reliable 325i are given the fact logbook and service history is up to date
The web page doesn't render very well, but it appears that it has only 88,000 KM on it, which is low mileage for the year. I like that it's not the turbo model, as turbos are often mistreated and can fail around this mileage. If the service history checks out (and don't forget to check BMW records) and an independent exam by a mechanic of your choice checks out, seems like a candidate to me.
I see from that ad that prices seem to run higher in AU than here, and so do interest rates.
what did you mean by BMW records?
Ya i am canadian living in brisbane for work. Car prices seems to be higher here for tax.. also lots of european car on the used car market which has had proper servicing record. I intend to check it with an independent european mechanic if everything worls well.. i sm more worried about the reliability
