Okay I will replace the bolts the flywheel still looks straight but I'll consider replacing it to. I didn't use loctite on them last time I put it together which is I guess where I went wrong. Theirs no signs of scraping on the flexplate only on the heads of the bolts so the flex plate should be fine. Do you know where I would find new bolts?
Sure, but if you'll allow me, I try to subscribe to the theory about teaching a man to fish, rather than handing him a couple of sardines......
Go to realoem.com
Enter the last seven digits of your car's VIN at the top box, where it says "serial number"
When your car comes up, select "Browse Parts"
Then you go to "engine".....yeah, I know the flywheel doesn't seem like an engine part, but trust me.....
Then select "Automatic; Flywheel"

Ah....there they are: part number 5. See the 11 digit part number?:
11227805885
Now....copy that part number, and let's go to one of our excellent suppliers,
https://www.fcpeuro.com/
Hit "Search", paste the part number, and VOILA:

Ah, there they are, $4. each. You need, um, 8 of them, as I recall. The new ones come with their own loctite.

I understand that for sure, I wish I could find a manual transmission donor car while everything is apart. But no one has one for sale right now with out killing a perfectly good BMW and that's a crime.
Thanks Chris you have been a huge help through all of this and I greatly appreciate you!
To anyone who is reading through this for a cracked flex plate or broken flexplate bolts. Do yourself a favor and replace your rear main seal before you put it back together. My loose bolts knocked out my rear main seal and i had no idea until i put it back together and drove it for a week.
