Looking for Hardtop Cart Designs

I am looking to build a storage cart for the hardtop. I need to be able to roll it around. Anyone currently have a cart they can share photos of or if someone has plans for building one, it would greatly be appreciated.

They sold them and the hoist as well . Maybe a google image search would show one

Here is one on Ebay (no connection).
Thunderbird and Mercedes also have removable tops so it's not an exclusive item.

Miata hardtops have them as well, I usually see them for sale for ~$100 on local Craigslist. I have one similar to the ebay link above.

While costing a bit more than those linked to on ebay, the portable hdtp stands originally available through the dealer were smaller, had (plastic) castors, and could easily be folded flat__with no tools required__when not in use.

I doubt they're available from the dealer anymore (and who'd want to pay that much if they were?) but that's the design you should be striving for, or just keep searching for used ones to pop up now and then.

Mine must be 15 & 17 years old by now, and still doing their job admirably.

The stand shown is one (of 2) of mine, but with a customer's hardtop temporarily occupying it.

Thanks guys for the great advice. I was prepared to fabricate one, but this is a much simpler solution. Randy, I will search for the fold up type as the fold up would be easier and lighter to deal with. If I can't find one, I might have to go with the ebay version. Thanks again for the info.
