E23 rear right trailing arm

Hi!
I just got myself a 1984 732i with a rusted rear trailing arm. The wheel looks like it's about to fall off and the rust damage is quite bad. Does anyone know where i can find a nice and not rusted out trailing arm for cheap? Part number: 33 32 1 124 217

I thought all the E24, E28 & even the later E32 and E34 rear arms were a straight swap into the E23? The subframes are certainly different between those chassis, but I thought the arms are the same. If you're lucky you'll find some E32 750iL arms, with roller bearings instead of bushings!

If not, I'll take a look at my parts car, it should have two good arms. It wouldn't be cheap though...shipping a large & heavy part like that would be a significant cost.

The E28 and E23 arem are the same but the stub axle may need to be changed. I have one of the later reinforced ones from an E28. Last time I sent a BMW part to Norway it was an empty strut and it cost $80, about 700NKR to ship. I would expect shipping to be close to 1000NKR with the size, weight difference. Maybe more, haven't looked. If United States Postal Service can take the package.
